🚗 FMS Driver Recruitment

Thank you for your interest in supporting funeral processions with FMS. We’re honored to serve families during meaningful moments, and we rely on a trusted network of independent contractors to help us do so with care, precision, and respect.

🔹 Position Overview

We are currently seeking plug-in drivers — part-time/on-call contractors who can assist during busy periods, especially weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays). Funeral processions are scheduled seven days a week, so we ask that you share your general availability between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

This is not a traditional job or employment offer. You are applying as an independent contractor, similar to platforms like Uber or DoorDash. FMS is hired to facilitate funeral processions, and we subcontract drivers to support those services. You are not an employee of FMS — we are your client, and you are a service provider.

🔹 What to Expect

If you're available, we may schedule you for an upcoming weekend. You’ll be part of a team of four and will receive instructions on-site at the starting location (typically the church).

  • The team leader will issue funeral flags and vehicle magnets

  • These items will be collected at the cemetery — and that concludes the run

  • You’ll be trained and briefed by the team on-site

🔹 Compensation

  • Pay starts at $60 per local run, with bonuses often available

  • Checks are issued weekly, every Tuesday, for the prior week’s work

  • You may choose to have your check mailed or held for pickup at your next scheduled job

🔹 Contractor Status

As a contractor:

  • You maintain full control over your schedule and availability

  • You may accept or decline assignments as they arise

  • You are responsible for your own transportation and conduct

  • You are not supervised or employed by FMS — we coordinate logistics and issue payment for completed services

This structure allows us to operate efficiently while respecting your independence. It also protects both parties by clarifying roles and responsibilities upfront.

🔹 Next Steps

If you're available and comfortable with this arrangement, please reply to confirm your interest. Once confirmed, you’ll receive a group text within a day or two with full details. We’ll add you to the roster and offer assignments based on your availability.

We appreciate your interest and look forward to working together.
